1. The short version
- 60 nights from the day your parcel is delivered.
- Used is fine. A clipper that has cut a dog is still returnable — that is the point of a trial.
- We pay the return postage and send you the label.
- You do not need the original box.
- Refund in 3 to 5 business days after the parcel scans in at our end.
2. How to start a return
Email admin@marronawork.com with your order reference and say what you are sending back. You do not need to give a reason. We reply the same business day with a prepaid return label, which you print or show at the drop-off point.
Pack the item so it survives the trip, attach the label, and hand it over. Keep the drop-off receipt until the refund lands — it is the proof the parcel entered the network.
3. What you get back
- The price you paid for the returned items, in full.
- The original delivery charge, where you return the entire order. If you paid $6 standard delivery on an order under $49 and send all of it back, that $6 comes back too.
- Not the express upgrade. If you chose $12 express, we refund the $6 standard equivalent, because the faster service was delivered as promised.
- Nothing is deducted for normal use, hair in the blade, or a missing box.
Refunds go back to whatever paid for the order, through the same payment provider that issued your payment link. Once we release it, how quickly it appears is up to your bank — usually 3 to 5 business days, occasionally up to 10 for international cards.
4. Partial returns
You can send back part of an order and keep the rest. If keeping part of it drops your order below the $49 free-shipping threshold, we do not claw back the shipping we originally waived.
5. Exchanges
We do not process direct swaps, because it doubles the time you wait. Return what you have for a refund and place a new order for what you want — if the new order is delayed by stock, tell us and we will hold the price you originally paid.
6. Faulty or damaged items
If something arrives damaged, or fails within the two-year motor and battery warranty, this policy is not the route — email us and we will treat it as a warranty claim. That means a repair or a replacement at our cost, with no 60-night deadline and no return-postage question. Photographs of the fault speed it up considerably.
Your statutory rights in respect of faulty goods sit on top of everything in this policy and are not limited by it.
7. Blunt blades are not a return
A blade head that has gone dull with use has not failed — it has worn, which is what blades do. Post it back in the prepaid sleeve that came in your box and we regrind the ceramic, re-coat the cutter, re-set the tension and send it home, free, for as long as you own the clipper. Typical turnaround is seven business days. Lost the sleeve? Email us and we will post another.
8. Cancelling before dispatch
If your order has not shipped, email us and we will cancel it and refund in full straight away. If it has already shipped, let it arrive and use the 60-night return — refusing delivery works too, but it takes longer to get back to us and therefore longer to refund.
9. The small number of things we cannot take back
- Opened blade oil and cooling spray, on hygiene and transport-safety grounds. Unopened is returnable as normal.
- Items damaged by misuse — submerged in water, dropped, or run with a non-Marrona blade head fitted.
Everything else in the catalogue is returnable, including combs that have been used and clippers that have done a full haircut.
10. International returns
The 60 nights and the prepaid label apply wherever we shipped to. Mark the parcel clearly as a returned good so it is not charged import duty a second time. Any duty you paid on the original delivery is recoverable from your own customs authority, not from us — ask us for the commercial invoice and we will send it.
11. Statutory right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU you also have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. That right runs alongside our 60-night policy and is not replaced by it. In practice our policy is longer and pays your postage, so it is almost always the better route, but the statutory right remains yours.
